WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

Websites that work for the person on the other side of the screen.

I'm Clifton, the designer and builder behind REVCLIFF//DEV. I make custom websites for local businesses and studios that refuse to look like templates, and I treat every build like it's the only thing on my desk.

THE PROBLEM

You're not looking for a website. You're looking for it to finally work.

You have a business that deserves to be found. But the site keeps leaking. Too slow, too generic, too hard to update, not showing up when someone actually searches. And underneath all of that is the quieter frustration: you've spent money and still feel like you have to babysit a thing that was supposed to bring you customers.

  • Does it feel like your website is a brochure nobody reads, instead of a machine that brings work in?
  • Have you paid for a site and still had to explain your business to every new customer by hand?
  • How many customers have told you they "couldn't find" you online, or that the site felt nothing like you?
  • And what's that actually costing you while you keep talking about fixing it?

THE PIVOT

To fix exactly that, I built a process around craft.

The problem is almost never that somebody can't code. It's that almost nobody builds a site around your customer's actual decision. So instead of moving pixels, I build a system that earns trust, gets found, and gets someone to book a call.

I take on a small number of projects at a time so each one gets real attention. Fixed scope, capped iterations, no endless meetings, and a process you can actually see. The result is a custom site built on Cloudflare: fast, findable, and yours forever.

WHY I DO THIS

The origin story isn't a resume. It's a standard being tested.

It started with watching good businesses get invisible. Not because they weren't good, but because their website (and the person who built it) treated the site like a brochure instead of a customer's first impression. I kept seeing the same story repeat: great work buried behind a template, a slow page, or copy that talked about the business instead of the customer. The fix wasn't another template. It was a better way to build, and a promise to keep standards that actually serve someone on the other side of the screen.

That's also why I'm on the path to becoming a reverend. The work I do and the way I live are the same thing: serving the person in front of me honestly, and building something that lasts. Serving the person on the other side of the screen isn't a tagline. It's the standard that decides what I make. Good work is work that answers for the client, not the designer.

WHAT I REFUSE TO DO

  • I refuse to hand back a template and call it "custom."
  • I refuse to bury your business under jargon that impresses other designers and confuses your customers.
  • I refuse to let your site go live slow, un-findable, or on a page builder you'll be renting forever.
  • I refuse to build something I couldn't sit down and explain to you, and to your customer, in plain language.

PROOF

The work does the talking.

The best proof isn't a wall of badges, it's a result. Here's what that actually looks like: a custom site on Cloudflare that loads fast, is structured to be indexed, and that you own outright. No page builder. No monthly hostage fee.

No lock-in

Owned outright

If that sounds like the kind of care you've been missing, let's talk.

The next step is a 15-minute call. No templates, no sales pitch, just an honest conversation about whether I'm the right fit for what you're building.

The greatest among you will be your servant. That's how I think about a build: the work is done well when it serves the person standing on the other side of it.
